Be sure to know the devil eggs change seasonally so right now they’re a tomato topped with corn base - still really yummy but definitely a surprise. Of course I asked and they said they do cook with the items they grow as well as support local markets for things they can’t grow on site! This made me super happy. They advertise as a “farm to table” restaurant and the FIRST thing you see as you’re walking in is their little garden with Green peppers, Herbs, Tomatoes, etc. Upon arrival I noticed this establishment was well built with a barn/rustic theme. However when I did call in, the person who answered the phone was super nice, patient, and efficient. I dont like that you can’t order via a website or app… you have to call. I was too tired to go in and dine so I ordered take out but hung around while my items were made so I got a good whiff of the basic experience:

This place came up as a “top rated” restaurant in the area so I decided to give them a try. Pricing : Moderate high, not too pricey for the nice ambience and innovative cuisine. This also leads to forgotten orders and incorrect orders reaching the table. Service : Can be a bit slow when the restaurant is crowded. For dessert, you have to try the Whiskey Cake - it's sinfully delicious! Ordered the Salmon and the Switch up Sandwich - both were well made. I tried a couple and found them to be really smooth.įood : Their appetizers and salads are quite good. Their collection of Whiskey that is brewed inhouse is pretty good.

Lots of parking available.ĭrinks : They have a full service bar with a lot of beer options. There are indoor and outdoor seating options and I recommend making a reservation, if you want to avoid a long wait.

The restaurant is busy at all times and its best to make a reservation, if you plan on heading there for an evening of drinks and dinner.Īmbience : Its usually noisy and crowded in the evenings but that adds to the fun. I sure am a fan of Whiskey Cake, Las Colinas.
